This soft and cuddly 40cm girl doll is dressed in a kapa haka outfit. With embroidered detailing and soft fabrics this kapa haka doll is soft and perfect for cuddling fun. Dolls are a way for children to learn through play as well as re-enact and make sense of their everyday lives, ideal for every home, school or early childhood centre. The girl doll's face is doing a gender appropriate kapa haka expression of a pute. She wears a taonga representing strength and courage. Designed in collaboration with a cultural integrity consultant, the dolls and puppets now better serve their intended purpose: "For the children of Aotearoa to see themselves and their peers represented".
