This set of Fill-in Phonics Stamps provide children the hands-on practice they need to really master phonics sounds. These skill-building stamps each feature a picture and a corresponding word with the beginning, middle or ending letter missing. Children can stamp out each image then fill in the missing letter to complete the word. This set includes 74 foam stamps, each with a picture on the handle to help children easily identify. Stamps measure 3 x 4.5 cm. Suitable for children ages 5+ years.
This engaging hands-on activity allows children to explore language and literacy in a fun and creative way. Simply press the stamp into ink (ink pad sold separately) and press onto paper. Students are then able to sound out the letters to find which ones are missing from the word, using the stamp picture as a handy prompt. Mix and match the stamps to make a story, using the words and pictures to fill the sentences. With 70 words there’s endless possibilities for all sorts of creative tales.
