Loti-Bot is the newest member of the TTS robot family, bridging the gap between early coding tools like Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot and more advanced platforms such as Oti-Bot. Designed for curious young programmers, Loti-Bot brings movement, sound, lights, sensing, drawing, and block-based coding together in one clever, classroom-ready robot.
Using a Bluetooth-connected tablet and the TTS Loti-Bot app, learners can progress from simple control environments to junior programming and finally to block-based coding. This graduated learning pathway makes differentiation easy-peasy across year levels and skill strengths.
Packed with features to support the NZ digital technologies curriculum, Loti-Bot includes programmable LEDs, bumper sensors, proximity sensors, a microphone, speaker, 20 pre-loaded sounds, a buddy detection sensor (detects other Loti-Bots, Bee-Bots and Blue-Bots), a cliff sensor to prevent falls, and an adjustable pen holder for drawing 2D shapes with accuracy. It’s a powerful, playful tool for boosting computational thinking and creativity.
